Job Description:
- Handle capex & opex (Network & ISD) reporting for month-end closing for the company group entities.
- Prepare journals and post opex accruals, ensure completeness & validity of the accruals
- Run depreciation & amortization of property, plant & equipment, and intangible assets for the company group entities
- Analyse the movement of depreciation, amortization, and opex on a monthly basis
- Prepare consolidated PPE & Intangible asset reporting
- Prepare quarterly/annually/ad-hoc basis reporting as below: –
- Supporting the budgeting team in yearly budget planning and the quarterly latest estimate for depreciation & amortization forecast
- Assess asset useful life change and simulate the impact for analysis purposes
- Yearly assess the staff cost capitalization and prepare the proposal for change if any
- Liaise with other internal teams and external auditors on the statutory requirement
- Take charge of balance sheet review with the team
- Prepare PPE and intangible asset-related information as required for government statistic/ Bursa announcement
- Any other ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- At least 8 years of the related/relevant work experience
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
