Job Description:
- Assist the Head of New Business Underwriting with the technical aspects of underwriting
- Perform assignment of underwriting cases on a daily basis
- Monitor and manage outstanding cases
- Execute QTP on daily basis for case clearance
- Upload changes with regards to the underwriting matters into GIZMO and Internal Underwriting Guide
- Execute and manage testing with regard to the underwriting rules and any other system enhancements
- Update daily reports for submission and underwriting turnaround time
- Perform underwriting cases as and when required
- Perform any ad hoc task as and when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 6 months of underwriting or credit and risk analysis experience
- Experience with underwriting automation tools preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
