Job Description:
- Monitor all Courier’s day-to-day pickup from sellers, ensure Couriers complete 100% of pickup assigned to routes daily, packages picked up are free from damage, and complete handover of packages to sortation
- Assign pickup sellers to correct Couriers’ routes and dispatch Run Sheets to couriers on time to ensure Couriers are able to perform pickup scans using their handheld device
- To update daily real-time pick-up information in the daily pickup tracker while ensuring all pickups assigned to the courier are completed at the scheduled time
- Follow up and call Couriers if there is a delay in planned pickup & also communicate with Sellers if a delay is anticipated to ensure sellers are made aware of any delay in pickup anticipated
- Effectively follow up and monitor Courier’s truck capacity and liaise with Pickup Supervisor if the backup truck is required to support the Route and save the pickup
- Communicate clear instructions to pick up Couriers & listen to their feedback to assist where required
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations related to pickups and ensure no backlogs on hourly real-time tracker
- Backup Dispatchers for coverage of pickup assignments and dispatching Runsheet in case of other Dispatcher absence or equipment failure
- Make recommendations as appropriate for necessary action and improvement related to Routes pickup
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Warehouse Operations
- Proven work experience in an operations/logistics environment
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
- Excellent communication
- Organizational and time-management
- Completed High school or diploma required to qualify
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Strong knowledge of area and roadways is an advantage
